Arulmigu Adhiparasakthi Siddhar Peetam is a Hindu temple in Melmaruvathur, approximately 92 km from Chennai (Formerly known as Madras) in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, India.

➽The Sacred Neem Tree (Before 1960s)

• Originally, the place was a small forest area with a single Neem Tree, which strangely gave sweet nectar instead of the usual bitterness. Locals believed the tree had healing properties.

➽ Discovery of the Swayambu (1966)

• In 1966, a cyclone uprooted the neem tree and revealed a Swayambu (self-manifested divine stone).
• This stone is considered the original form of Adhiparasakthi.

• On 25 November 1977, the 3-foot-tall idol of Adhiparasakthi was installed.
