• Sri Someshwara Swamy temple is in 13 century built by Chola kings. It is 1500 years old. But there is a saying that it may be 13th century building. No inscription or reference document is available.
• Sri Jayappa Gowda, King of yelhanka came here to hunt and was sleeping because of tired state. God Someshwara swamy came in his dream said I was worshipped by Mandhavya Muni. But now that bhakthi is declining among people Nationality, unity etc are decreasing. I am hiding in the ant hill without anybody to protect. You are a true devotee. You build a temple and worship me.

• The original Idol of the temple Sri Someshwara Swamy has been installed. When we worship with a outh the god will relieve them of the exists and bless them with marriage, children and other expectations. Apamruthyu dosha, Janma mruthyu dosha are also eliminated. Mahabhisheka, Rudrabhisheka and Panchamruthabisheka are special rituals.
